Five-star Tyrese Maxey, one of the top guard prospects in the 2019 class, will take an unofficial visit to Kentucky tomorrow, a source tells Rivals.com.
Maxey’s visit to Kentucky will be his second since he checked out Big Blue Madness in October.
Last Friday, prior to Kentucky’s contest at Texas A&M, John Calipari made the trip to South Garland High School to see the five-star junior. Maxey then returned the favor by making his way to College Station on the tab of the Aggies to watch the SEC battle.
The competition for Maxey remains a heightened affair as SMU, where his fathered is currently employed as the program's Director of Recruiting, Michigan State, Oregon and a number of others remain heavily in the mix.
Maxey is the No. 12-ranked prospect in the 2019 Rivals150 and the top-ranked guard in the state of Texas. He does not have any other trips scheduled, and is not expected to make a commitment in the near future.
