Five-star Texan taking it slow

Keith Frazier worked out in front of college coaches. But as much as coaches are working to get him to pull the trigger on a commitment, he seems unaffected by the pressure.
In fact, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard at Dallas (Texas) Kimball seemed at great ease with the process.

After swishing deep jumpers, showing improved strength and making a few nifty passes during some pickup, Frazier indicated that he hasn't even decided for sure whether he will sign early or in the spring.
"I don't know yet, you never know what I might do," said Frazier. "I'm not going to say just yet."
On hand to see him on Monday were SMU's Larry Brown (with two assistants) and Texas A&M's Billy Kennedy.
The Mustangs and Aggies have company from places such as Arizona, Oklahoma State, Florida and Memphis. He said he's talked visit dates with just about everybody, but is closest to locking in visit dates for the Gators, Wildcats and Aggies at the moment.
The five-star shooting guard, who ranks No. 19 nationally, feels like he's matured a lot since bursting onto the scene as an eighth-grader at the Real Deal on the Hill.
"I feel like I got a little more athletic and I feel like I'm a better shooter," said Frazier. "I'm working on my on the ball defense.
"I'm getting stronger. I've been in the gym."
So for now, at least to the outside world, Keith Frazier remains wide open. He does, though, know exactly what he's looking for and opportunity is high on his list.
"I want to make sure there's an opportunity for playing time," said Frazier. "I want to know that when I'm on the floor we'll be coached and we'll be a winning team."
