The No. 7 player in the country, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Minneapolis who is spending his senior season at Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep eliminated four programs on Tuesday.
Findlay assistant Pete Kaffey confirmed the news
"Rashad has trimmed his list to seven schools," Kaffey told Rivals.com. "He's down to Arizona, Minnesota, Iowa State, UNLV, Baylor, North Carolina and Kansas.
"He is no longer considering Kentucky, Georgetown, UCLA and Connecticut."
In other Vaughn news, he had been scheduled to take his first official visit to Chapel Hill this weekend. For now, that visit has been postponed and is most likely to be scheduled for a time during the season.
Vaughn still has visits set to Baylor the weekend of October 18th and Iowa State on November 17th.
The high scoring two guard is still planning to make his decision during the spring.
