Five-star senior makes a cut

It was just a little more than three weeks ago that Noah Vonleh decided to make the switch from the class of 2014 back to his natural class of 2013. Now, he's got a final list of schools.
Thursday, Pete Hutchens, who coaches the 6-foot-8 combo forward at New Hampton (N.H.) Prep, confirmed that Vonleh has cut his list of schools to a final group of Connecticut,Georgetown,Indiana North Carolina, Ohio Stateand Syracuse.

According to Hutchens, Vonleh isn't doing interviews at this point, so speculation will surely run wild about the five-star's recruitment.
Here's what we do know, though. Vonleh will take his first official visit the weekend of Nov. 2nd when he has a trip planned to Syracuse. His next visit will come the following weekend when he heads to Bloomington to see what Tom Crean and the Hoosiers are all about. Dates for trips to Georgetown and Ohio State should be finalized soon.
Also, Vonleh is scheduled to play in North Carolina during December, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see a visit built in around that. UConn is nearby and a place that Vonleh is already familiar with.
For now, the plan is to finish setting up visits, take them and then start moving towards a spring decision.
Vonleh will enter the class of 2013 rankings at No. 6 nationally.
