Five-star McGary schedules visits

Mitch McGary, one of the stars from this summer's travel circuit, now has visits to three of his schools under his belt. Early in September, he will check out the other three schools on his list.
This past weekend McGary, a 6-foot-10 post player from Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy, took a break from a family vacation to spend some time on the Florida campus.

"The visit went well," McGary told Rivals.com. "The coaching staff is cool, and I liked the facilities. It was a great visit."
Maryland and Michigan have already hosted McGary on unofficial visits, but Michigan will soon spend some more quality time with him. During the Labor Day weekend, McGary will officially visit Michigan for its football game against Western Michigan.
On September 5 McGary will drive to a Kentucky for a quick unofficial visit.
Not to be left out, North Carolina will then host McGary on an official visit September 6 and 7. Then on September 8 and 9, McGary will officially visit Duke.
McGary noted that there is a strong possibility he will utilize an official visit to spend more time with Kentucky during the season.
"I'd like to officially visit Kentucky during the year," he said. "We just haven't set any dates for the visit."
It is a little less certain, but Florida and Maryland might also officially host McGary during the year.
McGary hasn't set a time table for making a decision and is still very much sorting through the recruiting process.
"It is way too early for me to know what schools I like better," he said. "I'm just grateful to the schools I've visited. They have been courteous and cordial to me, and I'm excited to visit the other schools."
