Five-Star Henry sets Late Night visit

When Rivals.com spoke to Xavier Henry last week, the No. 9 ranked player in the class of 2009 indicated that he hadn't made a decision about where to unofficially visit during the weekend of Midnight Madness. At the time, Henry, a five-star prospect, was going to decide between Kansas, Memphis and North Carolina. According to Henry, a decision about where to spend next weekend has been made.
"I have decided to visit Memphis for Midnight Madness," said Henry. "Unless something changes at the last minute, my father and I are going to unofficially visit Memphis a week from Friday. If the visit falls through at the last minute, I will take a visit to Kansas, but the plan right now is to visit Memphis.

"My brother, dad and I were originally planning to take the visit together, but my brother can't make the trip with my dad and me," he added. "Like I said earlier, unless something happens at the last minute, I am going to visit Memphis for Midnight Madness."
Henry, a 6-foot-6, 205-pound shooting guard indicated that he is wide-open at this stage of the recruiting process. With so many high-major institutions involved in his recruitment, Henry is going to consider all options before making any decisions.
Connecticut, Duke, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Memphis, Michigan State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Texas are showing the most interest in Henry, but six schools currently stand atop his list.
"Texas, Kansas, Memphis, North Carolina, Florida and Ohio State are my leaders," said Henry. Coaches from these schools and others have already been by the gym to watch me practice, so it's been kind of crazy around here."
Xavier Henry Audible: "The stud 2009 prospect from Oklahoma had the college coaches giddy with his text book jump shot. He's automatic from the wing when he has an open look and with his mature body, he can put the ball on the floor and challenge anyone that gets in the way. Special? You betcha." - Justin Young of Rivals.com
