There will be no more visits for five-star power forward Emmitt Williams.

The high energy and super athletic senior at Orlando (Fla.) Oak Ridge announced his commitment to Will Wade and LSU on Friday morning.

Williams was scheduled to visit Florida this weekend but instead ended things to cast his lot with the Tigers. Earlier this week, Williams told Rivals.com that he liked the approach Wade and his staff were using.

“They are just saying that I can be the final piece, but you never know; everyone is telling you this and that but I am just leaving it up to God," said Williams. “The people there are great. When I was on my official visit there, I had a great time and I can definitely see myself in their jersey.”

One of the most ferocious and physically tough players in the class of 2018, Williams is a bit undersized. However, his athleticism and aggressive nature allow him to play much bigger than his listed 6-foot-6 size.

A potential difference maker from the second he steps on campus, Williams is another major upgrade in Baton Rouge.

He joins a stacked 2018 recruiting class that already includes fellow five-star prospect Nazreon Reid, top 30 point guard Javonte Smart and four-star forward Darius Days. The group now ranks No. 3 overall in the 2018 team recruiting rankings.
