Five offers for OBryant

Every team needs a high energy, athletic forward who can rebound and score, and Cleveland (Miss.) East Side product Johnny O'Bryant is going to fill this role for one fortunate college. The 2011 five-star prospect already sports five offers.
Bryant, 6-foot-8, 220-pounds, has been offered by in-state schools Mississippi State and Ole Miss along with offers from nearby Arkansas and Baylor and not so nearby USC. O'Bryant also named Memphis, North Carolina and Wake Forest as schools that have also checked in on him this year.

Averaging 19 points and 15 rebounds per game, Bryant is pleased with recent developments in his game.
"My ball handling and shooting have improved, and I'm playing more explosive," O'Bryant said.
This is scary news for opponents of O'Bryant, who was a dominant force around the basket at last summer's Nike Hoop Jamboree in St. Louis. O'Bryant played with an impressive motor and dominated the boards. Along with scoring by out running opponents down the floor and out hustling them on the boards, O'Bryant showed promise as an offensive scorer in the post.
Continuing to develop his game to the highest level is Bryant's number one concern when it comes time to choose a school.
"I'm looking for a coach who will push me and make me work hard," he said. "Playing time is important, but the main thing is that I just want to get better."
On the travel circuit O'Bryant will run with the Jackson Tigers.
