Five leaders for Kee

Martavis Kee is one-step closer to making a final decision about his future. Now that the AAU Circuit is complete, the 6-foot-3, 185-pound point guard from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., has seen five schools emerge as the teams to beat in his recruitment. Kee, a three three-star prospect, is looking forward to taking some official visits before he selects a school.
"Things are going pretty good right now. I am trying to schedule official visits to Marquette and Virginia, but I'm not sure when those visits are actually going to happen," said Kee. My dad has been talking to the coaches from Marquette and Virginia, but nothing has been planned just yet.

"I will have a better feel about those visits in November," he added. "I don't know if any additional visits are going to happen. I have decided to take my time with the recruiting process and wont make any rush decisions."
There was a time when Kee was seriously considering Clemson, Florida, Louisville, Illinois, Michigan, South Carolina, Tennessee and others. However, along with Marquette and Virginia, three other schools stand atop his list.
It's not yet known if Kee will actually visit his five favorites, but that's something he and his father are considering at this time.
"Virginia Tech, Miami-FL and Temple are the other three schools that I am really liking right now," said Kee. "I am trying to decide if I want to stay close to home or leave home after I graduate high school. I will probably decide from one of the five schools at the top of my list.
"A lot of when my decision happens will be based on what other schools start to recruit me," he added. "I am going to take my time with this decision, which means that I will probably sign during the late signing period. Marquette, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Miami-FL and Temple have offered scholarships, so I just need to talk with my father, decide what schools to visit and then make a decision."
