Fitz Unafraid To Mix It Up

Dan Fitzgerald, a 6-7, 180-pound WF from St. Thomas High School in St. Paul, Minnesota, impressed this weekend playing with the Howard Pulley Team at the Rumble in Bronx.

Fitzgerald proved capable facing the basket, and handles well for his size. Despite his lithe frame, Fitzgerald is unafraid to mix it up with the bruisers inside.

Fitzgerald, who averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds for his high school team this past season, has heard from Boston College, Rice, Bowling Green, Drake, and Northern Iowa. He has already visited Drake unofficially. Dan will take an official trip to Boston College in August. His AAU teammate Dan Coleman has already verbally committed to BC.

"Boston College is my first choice right now," said Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald is currently at the NBA Players' Association Camp in Virginia. Pulley will also compete in the Peach Jam in Atlanta. He has not received an invitation to either sneaker camp.

Fitzgerald carries a 3.2 GPA. He has not yet taken the SAT.
