Finesse Forward Taking Trips

Demarshay Johnson, a finesse 6-9, 203 pound power forward from the Christian Faith Center in Creedmor, N.C., is mulling a pair of official visits this spring.
Johnson told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that he is hoping to visit both Oregon State and Texas Christian University this month.

Thus far, the Oakland, Calif., native has taken a pair of trips to St. Joseph's (PA) University and Western Kentucky. He visited St. Joe's back in February and Western Kentucky in mid-April.
"We were trying to schedule a visit to Oregon State this weekend, but I have to send my transcript there first," Johnson said. "So I'm not sure if it's going to happen this weekend."
Johnson scored an 870 on the SAT, so as long as his core GPA is a 2.4 or higher, he should get through the NCAA Clearinghouse this spring.
"I am still pretty open, but I like Oregon State a lot," Johnson said. "I didn't like the fact that my family couldn't come out and see me play. That's a big factor right now."
