Finals Set for Beach Ball Classic

The championship game of the Beach Ball Classic is set with a match up of Edgewater (FL) High School and Cardinal Daugherty (PA) High School. Memphis bound Darius Washington, Jr. led Edgewater over Cedar Hill (TX) in the semis, and the one-two punch of DeSean White (Providence) and Kyle Lowry (Vilanova) led Cardinal Daugherty to an overtime semifinal victory over Rufus King (WI), USA Today’s No. 4 team in the nation.

In Cardinal Dougherty’s 72-68 overtime victory, White, the No. 135 player in the Rivals150 had 32 points, 9 rebounds, 5 blocks, 3 assists, and 2 steals. The No. 4 point guard in the Rivals150, Kyle Lowry, scored 16 points and snagged a whopping 17 rebounds.
