Final five for Tchiengang

Steve Tchiengang is on the move. The 6-foot-8, 230-pound Cameroon native is leaving Houston for Florida and he's taking a top five with him.
The Rivals150 forward has spent the last two years at Cyprus Community School in the Lone Star State. For his final go round on the prep ranks, Tcheingang will suit up at Montverde Academy.

Baylor, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Vanderbilt round out Tcheingang's top five, he said, and added that
"there is no leader at this time."
Tchiengang said he is going to Notre Dame on Sept. 22. Baylor is next on the calendar on Oct. 2. Oklahoma will host him on Oct. 18. Tchiengang said he has been to Baylor several times and tripped to Oklahoma when he was a freshman. He added he is still working on dates for Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt.
"It's important to see the schools and see what school is different than the other ones," Tchiengang said. "I want to see the facilities and the academics. I'm looking forward to that. Talking to the coaches, you want to see what they are saying. Seeing everything is a good thing because I'll have a chance to see for myself. I think it is important for me so I can be more confident in my decision."
The visits will also allow him to see the state of the team and how he fits into the big picture he said.
"The main priority is basketball because all of the schools that I have on my list are good academic schools," Tchiengang said. "Academics are important but playing time, exposure that you get and the style of play are the things that I'm looking for."
Tchiengang said he plans on signing in November.
