Final adjustments: Class of 2007 player rankings

A few changes needed to be made in the final class of 2007 top 150 player rankings because a few prospects sped up their academic progress in order to join the college ranks early. Rivals.com has adjusted its player rankings to account for the moves.
Vanderbilt may have found the next Australian star in center Andrew Ogilvy. The 7-footer shined over the summer at the FIBA U19 World Championships. He posted big-time numbers at the event (22.3 points and 9.8 rebounds a game), and has caught the eye of pro scouts. Ogilvy checks in at No. 41 in the final class of 2007 rankings.

Maryland will get a major shot in the arm at the semester break when local product Augustus Gilchrist enrolls at the ACC school. The skilled big man comes in at No. 52 in the final rankings. He is expected to redshirt this season for the Terrapins.
Cincinnati will lean on Nashville, Tenn., product Darnell Wilks this season. Wilks, a bouncy forward, comes in at No. 68 in the final rankings.
New Mexico State moved quickly on Boston native Troy Gillenwater and got him on campus early. He originally was slated to spend another year in prep school. Gillenwater is now the No. 78 player in the class of 2007, and he will reshirt for the Aggies this year.
Ole Miss freshman Malcolm White decided in the summer that he could do the work to play in college this year instead of next. The rugged Louisiana native is now the No. 86 player in the class of 2007.
Louisiana Tech moved quickly on Olu Ashaolu over the summer and landed the energetic forward from Toronto. Ashaolu comes in at No. 139 in the final 2007 rankings.
Vanderbilt took a similar approach with center Festus Ezeli, who comes in at No. 145. Ashaolu and Ezeli are redshirt candidates for their respective schools.
Final Class of 2007 Rivals150Click Laron Dendy (No. 63) and Justin Brownlee (No. 108) were prospects that spent time in junior college before joining teams late in the process. Therefore, they have been appropriately added to the 2007 class.Here to view this Link.
