Scoring guard Brandon Fields put up some big scoring numbers over the summer. Beginning this weekend, Fields, 6-foot-3, 180-pounds from Bowie High School in Arlington, Texas, will take the first of six visits to his top schools.
Fields will officially visit Nevada this weekend, and then has visits scheduled for Utah on September 9, UTEP on September 23 and Tulane on September 30. On September 17 he will officially visit either SMU or Texas A&M. Whichever school does not get the official visit on that date will receive an unofficial visit at some point.

According to his AAU coach Craig Roberts of Dallas Fort Worth Select, Fields should have a decision shortly after his visits and then sign during the early signing period.
Whichever school does land Fields will get a dynamic scorer with athleticism.
"Brandon is the first Texan to lead the Peach Jam in scoring," said Roberts. "He can flat out score the ball. He can get to the rim on anyone."
