Ferraris other guard

The big name for the Ferrari AAU club is Derrick Rose, the No. 2 ranked player in the class of 2007, but Rose has a strong supporting cast around him. One of those supporting players is 2007 shooting guard prospect Antonio Topps. Out of Leo High School in Chicago, Ill., Topps, 6-foot-1, 165-pounds, has several mid-western schools showing interest.
"Antonio is starting to get interest from Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Nebraska, Marquette, Ball State and IUPUI," said Topps father and AAU coach Luther Topps.

Capable of playing the point as well as the shooting guard position, Topps' natural position is the two, where he excels at moving without the ball and knocking down jumpers.
"He's a pure shooter," said Coach Topps. "Right now he's better at shooting off screens than off the dribble."
Although creating off the dribble is not Topps' strong suit, he is not just a long range shooter. He also has the capability to do damage in the midrange area.
"One of the things Antonio does best is use the shot fake, take one dribble and hit the midrange jumper," said Topps.
With a strong work ethic and the intelligence that goes along with a 4.0 GPA, Topps should only improve and become more creative with the dribble.
For his 13-4 Leo squad, Topps is averaging 10 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists per game.
