Felton Leads The Way For Beach Ball Select

HEMPSTEAD, NEW YORK -- He is perhaps the best point guard in the country. And he is one clutch player. Raymond Felton dropped in a jumper with a little over a minute left to force an overtime.
Then Felton's team, the Beach Ball Select, ran off the first six points in overtime to cap a come from behind, 82-78 victory over Houston Superstars at the Three Stripe Classic at Hofstra University.

Felton finished the game with 20 points. Many of these points came on sweet-looking trips to the basket. Felton also fed his big man, Major Wingate, some much needed confidence offensively. Wingate dropped in 18 points.
Another impressive performance was turned in by Taylor Mokris, who is headed to William & Mary. Felton, who is headed to North Carolina, was watched by UNC head coach Matt Doherty as well as assistant coach Fred Quartlebaum.
Chudi Chinweze had 22 points for Houston while teammate Tyrone Nelson added 21 points.
