Fazekas Will Take Trip Soon

Nick Fazekas, an offensive-minded 6-11, 195 pound power forward/center from Ralston Valley H.S. in Arvada, Colo., will take an official visit to Louisiana State University later this month.
Fazekas told Rivalshoops.com on Monday night that he will visit LSU from Sept. 27-29. In addition to John Brady's Tiger program, Fazekas said he is also considering Fresno State, Marquette, Utah and West Virginia among his top five.

Nevada-Reno and UC-Santa Barbara round out Nick's complete list of seven schools.
Three schools will visit the Fazekas home this week, among them UCSB (9/10), Utah (9/12) and Nevada-Reno (9/13). Nick said he expects the other four schools on his list to make in-home presentations as well.
While LSU will be his first visit, Fazekas has also pledged official visits to both Marquette and Utah this fall. He was slated to visit Utah the second weekend in October, but admitted he would probably have to reschedule that due to a prior commitment.
Previously, Fazekas had mentioned Kansas State and California as potential college destinations, but he said that the Wildcats dropped their pursuit in recent weeks. The Golden Bears backed out after picking up a late signee from Spain and when junior big man Gabriel Hughes opted not to transfer to Rutgers.
