Fazekas Sets Up 3 Visits

Nick Fazekas, a skilled 6-11, 195 pound power forward from Ralston Valley H.S. in Arvada, Colo., has trimmed his list to three schools this fall.
Fazekas will visit his three finalists this month, so it's conceivable that he could have a decision by the end of October.

Fazekas' first trip was to Nevada-Reno (Oct. 9-10). He is expected to visit Marquette (Oct. 18-20) and Utah (Oct. 25-27).
"I like Rick Majerus, I've heard he's real tough and everything, but you can't argue with the success that he's had," Fazekas said. "Marquette was ranked in the top 10 last year and will be a top 20 program this year, while Nevada-Reno told me I could get a lot of playing time right away."
Fazekas played this past summer with the Colorado Express Black program. For a big guy, he showed a predisposition to facing the basket, shooting from the perimeter and putting the ball on the floor.
Like many young beanstalks, he'll need to work on his strength and stamina at the Division I level, but that will probably come via a weight training regimen and nutrition program in college.
Previously, Fazekas told Rivalshoops.com that he would visit LSU in late September, but he said the Tigers pulled out of the recruiting process before he had a chance to make the trip.
Fresno State, UC-Santa Barbara, California and West Virginia were all schools previously mentioned by Fazekas, but those schools are no longer in the mix.
We'll keep you on top of any new developments with Fazekas' recruiting, so stay tuned.
