Fastbreak Friday: On the move

There is no shortage of activity this weekend on the visit front for basketball prospects.
Rivals.com takes a look at who is visiting from coast-to-coast in this week's edition of Fastbreak Friday.
Virginia is gearing up for a big, and important, weekend of action as two of the program's top targets are making their way to Charlottesville. Five-star guard Elliot Williams, a Memphis native, will see the school again. He's been to UVa a handful of times already and the Cavaliers were the first program outside the state of Tennessee to show interest.
Also in town is four-star forward Lance Goulbourne of New Jersey. The 6-foot-7 prospect from The Hun School has been one of the hottest prospects in the fall.
Maryland is hoping to have better luck on the recruiting trail this weekend. After losing a commitment from five-star forward Terrence Jennings on Thursday, Gary Williams and staff will play host to New Jersey forward Quintrell Thomas, who had said publicly prior to Jennings commitment that the Terps were his top option.
Notre Dame continues to look for good news this fall. The Irish basketball staff is hoping they can provide some positive news as four-star forward Steve Tchiengang makes his way to South Bend.
Marquette has a pair of important prospects on campus. New Jersey guard Tyshawn Taylor of the famed St. Anthony's is seeing the Big East school for the first time. Class of 2009 forward Bobby Capobianco of Ohio will also be on campus.
St. John's is playing host to Canadian sharp-shooter Devoe Joseph for an official visit.
Connecticut has been quietly involved with under-the-radar big man Assane Sene of South Kent for some time now. He participated in the Huskies' elite camp and will be on campus for an unofficial visit this weekend.
Cincinnati is hosting three-star prep school wing Kim English for an official visit.
West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins continues to look to his former stomping grounds in Ohio. The Mountaineers are hosting a trio of class of 2011 prospects Stevie Taylor, Paul Hoingford and Jehren Clarke for an unofficial visit. Junior college prospect Dee Proby is scheduled for an official visit, too.
The Ohio State Buckeyes are making their first splash on the official visit scene this weekend as New York power forward Kevin Jones is making a visit to Columbus. The trip marks the first official visit of the fall.
Indiana fans are excited for this weekend for good reason. Five-star center Tyler Zeller is making his official visit to Bloomington. Zeller visited North Carolina last weekend. While at IU, he'll be joined by friend and AAU teammate Matt Roth, who committed to Indiana earlier in the fall.
Four-star class of 2009 forward Stephan Van Treese visited Indiana on Thursday and will make his way to Purdue this weekend for an unofficial visit.
It is a big weekend at UCLA as a number of former players will be in town for a reunion weekend. The former Bruins will be joined by future Bruins Jrue Holiday and Malcolm Lee and key target J'Mison Morgan of Dallas, Texas.
It is a huge weekend in Fayetteville, Arkansas this weekend as the Razorbacks play host to No. 21 Kentucky on the gridiron. On the hoops front, a number of prospects will be on hand for the game and a full weekend's worth of activities.
Oklahoma sharp-shooter Rotnei Clarke is making an official visit to the SEC program. Chicago forward Stan Simpson will be on hand. Junior college big man Keith Ramsey will also be in town.
In-state guards A.J. Walton and Fred Gulley, both class of 2009 prospects, are making unofficial visits to the school, too.
After a mid-week commitment to LSU, Georgia forward Delwan Graham will make his first trip to the Bayou. Joining him on the visit is high school teammate Pierre Jordan.
Alabama is hosting Georgia in an important SEC battle on the gridiron in a night game. Bama commitments Jamychal Green and Andrew Steele will be on hand for the battle.
Ole Miss is hoping to score early with Louisiana big man Terrance Henry. He'll be in Oxford for an official visit as will guards Jon Hood, a top 50 junior, and sleeper prospect Will Bogan.
Auburn has already scored once in Georgia for the class of 2009. Jeff Lebo and his staff will continue to do so. Top 50 juniors Ari Stewart and Mfon Udofia are scheduled for a visit to Auburn this weekend.
As usual, things are busy at the mid-major level. A number of programs are hosting very important prospects on campus as a number of bubble high-major prospects are on campuses across the country.
Southern Illinois, no stranger to recruiting high-level players, is hosting Chicago big man Josh Crittle. The three-star forward has already been to a trio of high-major schools for visits.
Cliff Warren and his staff are playing host to the most important local product they've been involved with since taking over the Atlantic Sun school. Jacksonville native Shaquille Johnson is seeing the home school officially.
Virginia Commonwealth is hoping to make a major splash with North Carolina center Reginald Johnson, who is taking his first visit. A handful of ACC schools are also in chase.
Connecticut big man Devin Hill is making an important visit to St. Louis. He recently tripped to DePaul, too.
Davidson will get a crack at Midwestern big man Clinton Mann, who has already visited Iowa and Iowa State.
Tommy Amaker and his staff are swinging for the fences at Harvard. This might be the most important weekend for the Ivy League school as two important big men are on campus. Frank Ben-Eze and Andrew Van Nest will be making an official visit as will D.C. area guard Max Kenyi.
Missouri State is primed for a big weekend. Sleeper forward James Watson will be on campus along with Damen Holter and junior college prospect Cory Cooperwood.
George Mason is hosting Virginia forward Andrey Semenov.
Minnesota wing forward Armond Battle is taking a trip down to Tulsa.
The Fordham Rams continue their search for a big man as prep school forward Orion Outerbridge will be in the Bronx this weekend.
It is only a matter of days before Indiana center Julian Mavunga picks his future home. He'll trip to Indiana State and then make his decision public.
Fairfield is hosting Georgia guard Ebuka Anayora.
Central Florida continues their attempt of building an Interstate 75 connection from Atlanta to Orlando as Gideon Gamble of Westlake High School makes a visit to UCF. His high school teammate Ray Willis visited last week.
Western Carolina is playing host to Georgia forward J.C. Ward.
Illinois big man Jake Lindfors is visiting Illinois State.
Chicago area guard A.J. Rompza is tripping to Central Michigan.
