Iowa is kicking off the month with a bang with a host of visitors this weekend. 2007 guard Jake Kelly makes his second official visit of the school year.
Several class of 2008 prospects are coming to Iowa City. Emmanuel Negedu, Lewis Jackson, DeAndre Liggins and Tyler Zeller, all members of the Indiana Elite 16 and under AAU team, will be on the sidelines for the Hawkeyes game against Montana. The Hawkeyes will also host 2008 commitments Beas Hamga and Matt Gatens
Up the road in the Big Ten, Michigan has a trio of talented 2008 prospects coming to Ann Arbor. Delvon Roe and Kenny Frease, both top 30 ranked players in the junior class, are unofficial guests for the Wolverines. Brad Redford, a sharpshooter from the 2008 class, will also be in Ann Arbor.
Down in Columbus, Thad Matta and crew are hosting 2008 studs William Buford and Anthony Crater.
Keep an eye on Baltimore guard Malcolm Delaney, who is visiting Virginia Tech, and Indiana center Gary McGhee, who is making his final official visit to Pittsburgh. Both could make a decision in the very near future.
Virginia Tech will also host commitment Jeff Allen and his Hargrave teammates Jordan Crawford and Dorenzo Hudson. 2008 forward C.J. Williams joins the Blacksburg party too.
Andy Kennedy and the Ole Miss staff have a big weekend in store as two of their top targets make it to Oxford. Alabama point guard Keegan Bell and Georgia wing Jordan DeMercy are pairing up again to see another SEC campus. They were in Nashville last week to see Vanderbilt.
Clemson is doubling up with visits from 2007 targets in DeMatha big man Jerai Grant and fast rising guard Jason Henry, the no. 28 ranked player in the country. Current commitment Terrence Oglesby is also on hand for an official visit. 2008 prospects Toby Veal and Jerel Stephenson will also be in Death Valley for the weekend.
Several Rivals150 players are making important visits this weekend as well. Point guard Chris Wright is visiting NC State, the school he originally committed to last year. Arkansas wing James Anderson is visiting his state school and is a huge target for the Razorbacks.
UNC Charlotte is hosting point guard Tony Neysmith while Texas is getting Clint Chapman after the Oregon big man checked out Arizona State. Chicago forward Nayal Koshwal is in Los Angeles to see Southern Cal up close and personal along with recent Trojan commit Biko Paris.
Former USC pledge Quentin Watkins will unofficially visit Pepperdine. Kendall Wallace will see UNLV.
