Fairfield Lands A Solid Recruit
Marty O'Sullivan, a 6-5, 210 pound small forward from McQuaid Jesuit H.S. in Rochester, N.Y., committed to Fairfield after having several scholarship offers.
Winthrop, Princeton, Iona, Davidson, Colgate, Boston University, and Niagara also offered. O'Sullivan is also a pitcher and will also play baseball at Fairfield. The allure of the new arena (9,500) and the tough schedule convinced O'Sullivan to verbal to this upcoming program.

Others expressing interest include St. Bonaventure, Butler, Providence, Canisius, Davidson, William & Mary, Bucknell and Colgate.
O'Sullivan is a hard-nosed player who helps McQuaid Jesuit in a variety of ways. He's not averse to scrapping around the basket for loose change, or floating out to the perimeter, where he is a decent catch and shoot three point bomber. He's also a savvy passer from the high post.
