Paris Carter is one of the better pure scorers in the Class of 2005.
Carter, a stocky 6-foot-3, 210-pound swingman from Lake Clifton H.S. in Baltimore, Md., is currently a high school sophomore with junior athletic eligibility. That means that Carter will likely need to transfer to a prep school following the 2003-2004 school year.

While it's very early to be following the recruitment of sophomores, Carter said he already has generated interest from programs like La Salle, George Mason, Youngstown State and Maryland-Eastern Shore.
Carter is a power guard who can drive to the hole and finish. He's also a capable shooter out to three point land. He has a lot of weight in his lower body, so he has to be careful not to add many more pounds to his frame over the next couple of years.
This past weekend at the Charlie Weber DC Capitol Invitational, Carter showed again why he has emerged as one of the better pure scorers in the Class of 2005. He has played consistently well all spring long with Anthony Lewis' Cecil Kirk program.
We'll let you know how Carter progresses over the next two years, so stay tuned to this site for more information on top players in the Class of 2004 and beyond....
