Expanding list for Neysmith

As a 6-foot-5, 196-pound combo guard who brings a hard edged physical style of play to the court, Tony Neysmith will only find more schools recruiting him over the summer. Those schools better get on Neysmith early, since he is planning to trim his list before the summer is over.
"I have offers from Oklahoma, Ole Miss, East Carolina, Virginia and Virginia Tech," said Neysmith, who won a state championship with Norcross (Ga.) High School. "I'm also getting interest from Notre Dame, Illinois, Florida, Florida State and St. John's.

"At this point I'm still wide open, but by the middle of the summer, I'd like to have a top five."
Neysmith has already unofficially visited Florida State and Virginia Tech. Sometime in June he plans to visit Oklahoma.
As he works through his recruitment, Neysmith will consider the tradition of the basketball programs, amongst other aspects of the school.
"I'm looking for a nice community and a good basketball tradition," he said. "I also want to play in a good system of play and play for a player's coach."
A strong rebounder and defender who loves to slash to the basket on offense, Neysmith feels that his outside shot is coming along.
"I've had a good summer up to this point," he said. "I'm shooting the ball better but still want to become more consistent."
Neysmith, who is ranked the No. 98 prospect in the Rivals150, will attend the NBA Players Top 100 Camp late in June.
