Ewing Sparks National Christian Win
CENTEREACH, NEW YORK -- Patrick Ewing, Jr. scored 18 points yesterday morning to lead National Christian Academy to a 63-53 consolation victory at the Maranatha Invitational held at Our Savior New American School on Long Island.
Ewing seemed very effective away from the basket as he tries to polish his skills to play the three/four position on the college level. Once Ewing improves his ballhandling skills, he has a chance to be an effective combo forward on the college level.
Ewing, a 6-8, 220 pound combination forward from Marietta, Ga., is the son of sure to be future NBA Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing, Ewing Jr. Ewing said he is interested in Indiana, Texas, Georgetown, DePaul, Georgia, Memphis, Louisville and Virginia, just to name a few.
