Eric Davis Has Schools Interested

Eric Davis, a long and mobile 6-9, 220 pound power forward from Philadelphia, Penn., is headed to prep school in the fall.
Davis told the Insiders Report at this past weekend's T5T Playaz Ball that he is uncertain about where he will end up next year, although there has been talk about the possibility of him attending Mt. Zion Christian Academy in Durham, N.C.

While he is uncertain about his high school future, the collegiate picture for Davis has become a little bit clearer in recent weeks.
Davis said he has been offered scholarships by Wake Forest, Rutgers, Seton Hall and Charlotte.
In addition to those high major programs, Davis has been contacted by LaSalle, UMass, Temple, Michigan, Purdue, Miami and Memphis. North Carolina also recently called his house to express an interest, but are still in the process of evaluating Davis.
At Camden last season, Davis averaged 10 points, eight rebounds and four blocks per game.
Davis is one of those players who passes the look test, but his play and consistency level often varies from event to event. He is long and mobile, and covers the court effortlessly with graceful strides. But his upper body needs to continue to add strength, as he does not always finish chances around the basket.
Davis said his GPA resides in the neighborhood of a 2.0-2.5, but he has yet to take either the SAT or ACT.
Davis attended the adidas ABCD Camp in New Jersey earlier this month, as well as the Three Stripes Tournament in Long Island.
He will play with the T5T Playaz Gold or Playaz II team at the adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas this week. That team consists primarily of underclassmen with the exception of Davis and point guard Dwayne Lee.
