Last year Elliott played at The Trinity-Pawling School in Pawling, NY, under head coach Bill Casson. Elliot, who really hit it off with GW coach Karl Hobbs last year, also considered Hofstra, Manhattan, Marquette, and Hampton. All schools had offered last year.
Carl, a native of Brooklyn, averaged 15 points, eight assists, five steals, and four rebounds last season. According to Cassara, Elliott will play a big role for Worcester this season. And he has. Elliott also plays football, according to Cassara. It shows. Elliott is a strong guard but quick enough to steal an opposition's pass and finish off the transition break.
