EliteHoopsShowcase Houston recap

HOUSTON, TX - The EliteHoopsShowcase has been a national launch pad to quite a few players out of the Houston camp over the past three years. In year one it was D'Angelo Harrison (St. Johns University), Rasheed Sulaimon, then a freshman committed to Duke and probable McDonalds All-American, Joe Burton and Mavin Saunders (Both Adidas Nations). In year two it was 2014 wing Justin Jackson, Malik Morgan,Daryl Milburn, Danuel House, Josh Gray...all nationally ranked players, among others.
This year that distinction goes to 6-foot-8 WF Johnathan Motley out of Northshore HS in Houson, 6-foot-5 2014 lefty wing, Kelly Oubre out of Fort Bend Bush in Houston and 2013 PG DJ Griggs out of Brazosport HS in Lake Jackson, TX . Motley is a long WF with a variety of skills reminiscent of Baylor's Quincy Miller. Motley can beat you off the dribble, has the ability to knock down jumpers and is skilled on the block. On the defensive end he did a good job of blocking and altering shots. Look for Motley to crack the Rivals Top 150 in Tuesday's 2013 Rankings update.
