6-foot-3 2013 WG Detrick Mostella(Austin - Decatur, AL) emerged as one of the top prospects in 2013 at the Birmingham EliteHoopsShowcase camp this weekend. The most athletic player at the camp, Mostella is more than that. He consistently hit shots from deep and mid-range, created scoring opportunities off the bounce and has shown improvement defensively. He has Miami offer with interest from Auburn, Alabama, UAB and Murray State.
6-foot-7 2013 F DeOntaye Curtis (Hoover HS - AL) - Hybrid forward with good stroke. Can beat you off the dribble or from the block. Blessed with good hands and passing ability. Will be a high major prospect. Has high inerest from UAB, Bucknell, Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma State and Virginia.
6-foot-6 2013 WFSeab Webster (Madison County HS - Gurley, AL) - Very good IQ. Good use of shot fakes to create driving angles. Good rebounder, passes well from the high post or block. Not bothered by contact. Has Mercer offers with interest from Virginia, Tenn Tech, Alabama, Vanderbilt and others.
6-foot-0 2013 PG Trevon Landry (Bob Jones HS- Huntsville,AL) - Powerfully built general with an explosive first step, allowing him to get into the lane for tough finishes or the assist. Very good defender. Has offer from Vanderbilt with interest from Texas A&M, Alabama and Oregon among others.
5-foot-9 2013 PG J.J. Frazier (Faith Baptist Christian Academy- Hinesville, GA) - The fastest player from end to end with the ball. Can hurt you in multiple ways in transition..pull-up three, stop and pop or basket finish. Good passer. Has interest from Geogia, Clemson, Miami, South Carolina, Georgia State and others.
6-foot-3 2013 WG Aaron Scott (Liberty County HS - Hinesville, GA) - Athletic guard shot it well all weekend. Scores attacking the basket and on the offensive glass. Has a chance to be a high major prospect. Jacksonville has offered, georgia, College of Charleston, Miami and Tulane showing interest.
6-foot-3 2012 PG Cameron Neysmith (Massanutten Military Academy- Woodstock, VA) - Lefty was tough to stop this weekend. Creative ball-handler with very good court vision and feel. Attacks the basket for contact finishes or assist. Quick hands defensively. Receiving interest from Manhattan, Colorado State, North Florida and Texas-Arlington.
6-foot-0 2012 PG Jaquez Motley (Faith Baptist Christian Academy- Hinesville, GA) - Quick lead guard with a solid pull-up game. Atacks the basket well for floater finishes. Tough on the ball defender. Has an offer from Western Kentucky with Wofford and College of Charleston interest.
6-foot-0 2012 PG Matthias Sigurdarson (Mountain Brook HS - AL) - The recent move-in from Iceland can run a team. Knows how to get into the lane to find the open man. Handles ball well. Has William & Mary, Mercer, East Tenn State, Tenn Tech, Coastal Carolina and Samford interest.
6-foot-0 2012 CB Mario Stramaglia (Mountain Brook HS - AL) - One of the top shooters in the state, showed that tag all weekend. Has really improved his ballhandling, giving him an added dimension of scoring off the dribble. Strong defender, rebounds his position. Committed to East Tenn. State
6-foot-6 2015 WG Danjell Purefoy ( Bibb County HS - Centerville, FL ) - Young wing has elite level potential. Has good vision, ballhandling and lentgh, allowing him to play multiple positions. One of the top players in 2015, has a chance to be elite level prospect.
5-foot-10 2013 PG Fred Knight (Scambia HS - Atmore, AL) - The second most athletic player at the camp. Fearless attacking the basket. High energy defender. Good in transition.
6-foot-0 2012 SG Fletcher Forte (Pensacola HS - FL) - Long range lefty shooter. Knows how to use screens to get hs shot. Has good feel for the game. Low to Mid's need to take a look.
6-foot-1 2013 PG Sean Brennan (Roswell HS - GA) - Tough, heady point who makes good use of the change of pace dribble. Can score the ball when needed by getting to the basket or from deep. Headed to Bucknell for unofficial visit this fall.
6-foot-4 2013 WF Malik Broughton (Veterans HS - Kathleen, GA) - Tough defender and shot blocker. Long arms allow him to defend bigger players. Runs the floor well. Solid from 15-feet.
6-foot-6 2014 F Greg King (Marin Luther King HS - Lithonia, GA) - Athletic defensive forward. Very good on the glass on both ends of floor. Developing offensive game, loves to attack the rim off the catch. Has interest from George Mason and College of Charleston
6-foot-6 2014 pf Brandon Murphy (Carver Senior HS - Montgomery, AL) - Big bodied power player with good hands. Tough to handle on the block, good finisher.
6-foot-0 2012 PG Jibrail Hayes (Dallas County HS - Plantersville, AL ) - Good body, uses creative handle to get into the lane for finishes or open teammate.
6-foot-6 2013 PF Shamar Johnson (Pine Forest HS - Pensacola, FL) - Another wide-body, undersized big with good hands and feet. Knows how to get position on the block.
6-foot-5 2013 F Marcelle Jackson (Minor HS - Birmingham, AL) - Athletic defender. Challenged shots above the rim all weekend. Improving offensive game, has lots of upside. Has heard from Tennessee Tech.
6-foot-2 2014 PG Paul Jackson (Martin Luther King HS - Lithonia, GA) - Slippery point who is wired to score. Has solid frame, vision and toughness. Going to be a good prospect.
6-foot-5 2012 WF Jeremy Postell (Westlake HS - Atlanta, GA) - Lefty has range on jumper with bounce. Size and length allows him to play either wing position
