Elite 2013 prospect narrows list to five

Elite 2013 prospect Solomon Poole isn't quite ready to make a decision yet, but he is getting closer. The explosive athletic combo guard is now focused on five schools.
According to his travel team coach Emory Walton of the Atlanta Celtics, Poole's list of five is Georgia, Memphis, Louisville, UCLA and Oklahoma State.

"I wouldn't say this list is necessarily a cemented school list, but it is going to be very difficult for another school to come in," said Walton.
There is, however, a sixth school caught in recruiting limbo for the Poole, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect out of Jacksonville (Fla.) Terry Parker High School.
"Miami is a wild card," said Walton. "At one time they were one of the leaders for Solomon, but with the NCAA situation, things are in an unknown situation. Plus, they added Shane Larkin, and that was unexpected."
Georgia, Louisville, Oklahoma State and UCLA have all hosted Poole on unofficial visits, and it is up in the air if Poole will take more visits before deciding in the school.
Another side element with Poole's recruitment is the transfer of his brother Stacey Poole from Kentucky. The elder Poole is also in the process of picking another school prior to the upcoming spring semester.
As an explosive athlete as there is in the 2013 class, Poole is the No. 9 prospect in the Rivals150.
