Eight remain for Wisconsin junior

There's been no lack of recruiting attention for J.P. Tokoto. Going forward, he's still going to be getting plenty more. However, after a Monday night slicing of his list, there will be a few less schools showing him attention.
Per a press release issued by the 6-foot-6 swingman from Menomonee Falls (Wisc.) High's summer coach Ritchie Davis, the four-star junior is down to eight programs.

"(Tokoto) has narrowed his list of potential institutions to pursue his academic and athletic endeavors at the collegiate level to Connecticut, Kansas, Kentucky, Marquette, Maryland, North Carolina, UCLA and Wisconsin," wrote Davis. "J.P. will be making his final decision sometime soon after the conclusion of the spring grassroot season."
An athletic wing who is currently ranked #40 overall in the 2012 Rivals150, Tokoto will focus on the remainder of his high school season while looking to build the relationships he has with the remaining schools on his list.
"J.P. wishes to focus the majority of his attention the next 3-5 weeks on the remainder of his high school season," said Davis. "He is looking forward to continuing to build upon his current relationships with each of the respective coaching staffs and is eager to obtain the necessary information he needs to make the most informed choice possible."
