Dwight Jones, an athletic 6-1, 180 pound combination guard from Klein H.S. in Houston, Tex., has a top five list of Oklahoma, Kansas State, Texas Christian, Houston and Southern Methodist.

Thus far, Jones has planned one in-home visit with Oklahoma on Sept. 17. He has yet to set up any other official or unofficial trips this fall.

In addition to his top five list, Jones said he is also hearing from Tulsa, Colorado State, Stanford, Tennessee, Baylor and Stephen F. Austin.

Jones averaged 25 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and seven steals per game as a junior at Klein.

The Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com had a chance to watch Jones play at both the adidas ABCD Camp and the Great American Shootout in Texas.

Playing with David Salinas' Houston Select program at the Shootout, Jones impressed us with his quick first step and ability to finish around the rim. When he gets hot from beyond the perimeter, he is a very difficult player to stop.

Jones said he has a 3.7 GPA and has about a 19 on the ACT.
