Dwayne Andersons Short List

Small forward Dwayne Anderson from St. John’s High School in Mitchellville, Maryland has an unusually short school list for an uncommitted player. Villanova sits alone on the list.
“I like Villanova. I enjoyed the players, coaches, and campus on my unofficial visit,” said the 6-foot-5, 190-pound Anderson. “Arkansas and Virginia Tech are calling me, and I haven’t ruled everybody else out. But I really like Villanova.

Villanova has offered a scholarship, so why is Anderson waiting to commit?
“I want to take my time. And I will take an official visit to Villanova,” he explained. “I might even take a visit to another school.”
So is it just a matter of time before Anderson commits to Villanova?
“Yes,” he answered. “You could say that it is a matter of time.”
Anderson, a very good shooter, plans to play shooting guard in college. Right now he is working on his quickness and ball handling. He also indicated that he still needs to do some work on qualifying academically.
