Dunson schedules two visits

Dodie Dunson, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound point guard from Brewster Academy is one-step closer to putting an end to his recruitment. The three-star prospect has two official visits scheduled and, as it stands right now, could schedule more visits before he makes a final decision about his future.
"Things with my recruitment are going pretty well right now," said Dunson. "I am taking a visit to Minnesota during the weekend of April 14. After that, I will be taking a visit to Tulsa during the weekend of April 21. Those are the only two official visits that I have planned right now.

"The new coaching staff from Iowa State is coming to see me on Tuesday," he added. "There is a chance that I might visit them before I pick a school, but nothing has been decided yet. Coach Greg McDermott recruited me when he was at Northern Iowa, so I am familiar with him and his system."
Aside from the aforementioned programs, Dunson, the three-star prospect, indicated that several other high-major programs are seriously interested in his services. There is a chance that Dunson could actually take all five official visits before selecting the school of choice.
"The final three visits are up in the air right now," said Dunson. "Iowa State, Pittsburgh and Nebraska are the schools that are recruiting me and the schools that want to get me on campus for a visit. I don't have any leaders right now and all of the schools are pretty much even.
"I just need to take my first two visits and go from there," he added. "I don't really know if I will need to take all five visits. That is something I will decide after I take some visits."
