Dunson exploring his options

Dodie Dunson, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound point guard at Brewster Academy (N.H.), has a solid list of suitors. He recently took an unofficial visit to a Big Ten school and knows decision time is drawing nearer.
Dunson, a three-star guard from Bloomington, Ill., is having a solid season for coach Jason Smith at Brewster this season. Dunson is averaging 18 points and six assists per game.

During the winter break away from Brewster, Dunson took an unofficial visit to Purdue and caught the Boilermakers game against Wisconsin. While there, he had a chance to spend some time with Purdue head coach Matt Painter.
"It was good talking to him. We had a private conversation and just got a chance to get to know each other," Dunson said.
The former Illinois State commitment is taking the recruiting process in stride.
"Recruiting is going real well," Dunson said. "I have a number of good schools recruiting me."
Nebraska, Northern Illinois, Purdue, Tulane and Tulsa are amongst those good schools.
"I want to take my visits, at least three of them," Dunson said. "Then my parents and I will see where I stand with them all for basketball and for my grades and then figure out what is the best for what I'm looking for.
"I want to find a place where I can showcase my talents."
