Dulkys decides ACC

To sign early or not to sign early? That was the question Deividas Dulkys was asking himself up until tonight. Dulkys, a 6-foot-3, 187-pound shooting guard from Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep has decided to sign next week and play in the ACC.
With offers from Florida State, California, Tennessee and strong interest from UConn, Dulkys is Florida State bound.

"I put every school in my mind and asked myself what do I need to get to the next level," said Dulkys, who is originally from Lithuania. "I did an elimination, and Florida State came out and I'm really happy with the decision.
"I like the coaching staff at Florida State, and although it wasn't the most important, one of the important things was playing time. At Florida State I have a big opportunity to be an impact player as a freshman."
Whether in the NBA or in a European professional league, Dulkys plans to play basketball for a living.
"Too many people are saying I have a chance to be a NBA player," he said. "I know I have a shot. Whether NBA or professionally in Europe, we will see."
Dulkys, the No. 67 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, is Florida States third four-star commitment from the class of 2008 along with Luke Loucks and Xavier Gibson. Florida State now looks to complete its recruiting class with Chris Singleton. Also a four-star prospect, Singleton is scheduled to announce on November 14 between Florida State and Kentucky.
Deividas Dulkys scouting report:
A well put together shooting guard, Dulkys has a nice combination of basketball intelligence, high skill level and athleticism. As a scorer, Dulkys has a great feel for moving without the ball and has a quick release on his jumper. He also has the athleticism to attack the basket. On the otherside of the ball, Dulkys is an adequate defender.
