What was once going to be a visit to Duke for the opening weekend of practice has now turned into a visit to North Carolina for Late Night with Roy. 2010 top ten prospect Kendall Marshall has eliminated the Blue Devils from his list and a commitment to North Carolina appears even more imminent.

Now down to North Carolina, Georgetown, Virginia and Villanova, Marshall didn't say North Carolina was the school, but he did tell Rivals.com a decision is coming soon.
In fact, a press conference has been scheduled for this Wednesday at 2:50 EST.
"I'm ready to get this over with so I can focus on school and getting better," said Marshall, a 6-foot-1, 160-pound point guard from Arlington (Va.) Bishop O'Connell. "It's a tough decision, though. I really like Georgetown and Coach Thompson. Virginia is close to home and that would be a great situation. And with Villanova has had great guards and has a system built around the guards."
However, when it comes to North Carolina, the quote from the lifelong North Carolina fan takes on a much more grandiose tone.
"It's North Carolina, and that's basketball heaven," he said.
Kendall Marshall scouting report:
With a superb basketball IQ, Marshall plays with surprising poise and at a deceptive pace. He sets up for a burst that is just fast enough to beat his man and controlled enough for him to read the situation with precision. The lefty also has a more-than-reliable jumper and has a knack for delivering the pass with timing whether it is off his penetration in the half court or a pass up the court in transition. Improving his explosiveness and improving on the defensive side of the ball are his next challenges.
