Duke nabs second five-star in PG Jackson

For most of the summer, the general belief was that Duke would end up as the landing spot for five-star point guard Frank Jackson.
Still, Mike Krzyzewski and his staff had to seal the deal with 2016's No. 10 player.

Just two days after returning home from an official visit to Durham, N.C., the 6-foot-3 senior at Highland (Utah) Lone Peak made it official when he announced during a press conference at his school that he would play his college ball for the Blue Devils.
One of the most dynamic players in the class of 2016, Jackson has the tools to step in and help the Blue Devils early, and he should be able to do so at a few positions.
While Jackson is currently listed as a point guard, that position slotting is much more about his future than it is his current game. Right now, Jackson is a high-scoring combo guard who has the tools to slide over and play as a scoring point down the road.
Playing with his high school and in the summer with the Utah Prospects, Jackson has proven to be a big-time scorer and an above-average athlete.
He specializes in crossover or hesitation dribbles before pulling up for mid-range jumpers or getting all the way to the rim to finish. He is outstanding in transition, is an excellent on-the-ball defender and plays hard.
To be a full-time point guard, Jackson will have to become a better playmaker for teammates and improve his shot selection a bit.
Now that Jackson is in the fold, Duke has a chance to go after another monster class. No. 3 in 2016 Jayson Tatum is already in as a verbal commitment and the Blue Devils have long been considered the team to beat for No. 2 overall Harry Giles.
