Drummond holding off on college

Although he is qualified to attend college this year, elite post prospect Andre Drummond has instead decided to spend a year in prep school.
In a press release today, Drummond announced that he will attend Wilbraham (Mass.) & Monson Academy this year.

Whether it will be college or the NBA the following year is still up in the air.
"My plans for the immediate future are to continue to focus on academics and basketball, and to prepare myself for the future challenges I will be facing on the court and in life," said Drummond in the release. "My decision beyond this coming year will not be made before next spring. Right now I am looking forward to getting to WMA, meeting my teammates and fellow students, and focusing on both academics and basketball."
If Drummond does not opt for the NBA after this year, the five colleges he is presently considering are Connecticut, Georgetown, Kentucky, Louisville and West Virginia.
Drummond, the No. 2 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, is coming off a strong showing in the month of July.
