financial aid packages, also have offered positions in their programs. Buffalo is close to offering.
Cornell head coach Steve Donohue and Buffalo assistant Mike Mennenger were recently on hand to see Kravic and his teammates face-off against Long Island
powerhouse Our Savior New American.
Representatives from Cornell's staff, as well as Rider, St. Francis(NY), Lafayette, and American were on hand for The Dwight School's three-point loss to Lawrence-Woodmere Academy, featuring burly America
East target Tarik Viaer-McClymont, within the last week. All came away impressed.
Lafayette head coach Fran O'Hanlon recently called Kravic's high school coach, Alex Kiprovski, to express interest. "Groggy" will take an official visit to American
next Tuesday. He also plans on making official trips to Cornell and Lafayette in the future.
Kravic is a perimeter player with a pillowly shooting touch. Perhaps the native of the former Yugoslvia's biggest assets, however, are his vision and passing ability. Kravic possesses a sturdy frame and a good basketball body, as well as a high basketball IQ.
Kravic, despite his size and skills, eluded
recruiters this summer after spending it in his native country, not participating in the AAU circuit. Kravic garnered little recognition playing for The Dwight School, as well, despite averaging over 30 points a
game in his school's tiny Independent league.
Only a few savvy assistants got wind of the crafty swingman and word of his skills have gradually trickled out.
Kravic is an excellent student, carrying a 93 scholastic average and scoring over 1000 on the SAT despite the language barrier. Kiprovski reports that Kravic's grasp on the language is improving everyday. Kravic is looking to study architecture in college.
