Douby Signs LOI But ...

Quincy Douby, the sure-fire marksman out of Brooklyn, N.Y., has not yet sent in his signed letter of intent to Rutgers. Douby has another week to send the letter in but he has properly documented his signing if he wishes to make his commitment official this Fall.
Douby is expected to take a visit to Rutgers first before deciding on whether he sends his LOI to the Scarlet Knights basketball program. If he does not have a good visit, Douby is likely to open up his recruiting process again.

Douby, who is now at St. Thomas More School in Connecticut, should be playing in this weekend's War at the Shore. RivalsHoops.com will have complete coverage.
Douby had been offered scholarships by St. John's, Syracuse, Seton Hall, UMass, Virginia, and Mississippi State at ONE TIME during his recruiting process. This does not mean that when Douby made up his mind he was still being offered by these schools.
This is an important year for Douby in the classroom, as he needs to boost both his core GPA requirements and SAT score.
