Douby Sends In LOI
Quincy Douby, the outstanding 6-3, 170 pound shooting guard from the St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Conn., sent in his paperwork to Rutgers. This confirms his earlier verbal commitment to the Rutgers men's basketball program.
Douby, who recently qualified on the SAT, is one of the best long range shooters on the prep school level. Douby has NBA range on his jumper and can dominate a game offensively with his skills.

An official announcement is expected soon, according to a source close to Douby. Quincy, who had signed with Hofstra last fall, opted to attend prep school this year and reopen his recruitment.
Douby caught a lot of people off guard when he orally committed to Rutgers back in September, and rumors swirled since that time that he might be hedging on his pledge to the Scarlet Knights. But after his visit earlier this week, Douby handed in his letter of intent.
