Dortch C-USA bound
Three-star prospect Taurus Dortch has found a college program with the perfect system to match his style of play. And best of all for the 6-foot, 180-pound point guard from Ramsay High School in Birmingham, Ala., he will get to play right at home.
"Taurus committed to UAB this week," said Dortch's AAU coach Norm Williams of the Southeast Elite. "He's really excited. He always wanted to play close to home. He's very close with his mother, and now she'll have a chance to watch his games.

A very strong athlete, who defends well and slashes to the basket, Dortch is tailor made for the UAB system.
"I think he'll do really well in the fast paced system of Coach Anderson," said Williams. "Taurus always plays hard just like the kind of kids Coach Anderson loves to coach."
Dortch chose the Blazers over Ole Miss and Murray State.
