Dominic Bishop-Currie Will Sign Late

Dominic Bishop-Currie, a quick 6-0, 160 pound point guard from Bennett H.S. in Buffalo, N.Y., is a floor general who is expected to sign late.
Bishop-Currie told the Insiders Report at the Charlie Weber Tournament that a lot of Division I schools have called him and told him that they want to evaluate him during the high school basketball season.

Bishop-Currie said that St. Bonaventure, Providence, Idaho, Buffalo and Canisius are among the colleges who have expressed some degree of interest in him.
Last year at Bennett, Bishop-Currie averaged 32 points, five rebounds, six assists and three steals per game. He said he carries a 2.7 GPA and will take the SAT for the first time on Oct. 3.
Bishop-Currie split time between a pair of traveling basketball squads over the past several months. Last spring and at the Weber Tourney, he played with the GC Ballers squad out of Buffalo.
This past summer, he hooked up with Jim Hart's Albany City Rocks program at the Three Stripes Classic and AAU Super Showcase.
Bishop-Currie uses his quickness to great advantage, where he is able to penetrate and create for his teammates. He also has quick hands that aid him defensively, but his major achilles heel right now is his perimeter shot.
Since he is going to sign late, the Insiders Report will keep you posted on Bishop-Currie's recruitment in the coming months, so stay tuned!
