Does Duke Lead For Livingston

Shaun Livingston, might be the most talked about player in the class of 2004. It has been reported that the 6-foot-6, 170-pound point guard from Peoria Central High School in Peoria, Illinois is leaning toward playing his collegiate basketball for Duke. While the Blue Devils are definitely near the top of his list, Arizona and Illinois should not be counted out just yet.
“I don’t have any leaders and there isn’t a specific school that I’m leaning towards,” Livingston said. “I do like Duke and I have taken an unofficial visit to their campus, but I also like Arizona and Illinois.

“I know that Florida recently received a commitment from another player, so they are kind of off in the distance,” he added. “Duke, Arizona and Illinois are the schools that I really like.”
So far this summer Livingston has been almost flawless on the court and, in the process, has solidified himself as one of the top players in the class of 2004. Rivals.com ranks Livingston No.2 on the Rivals150 and the best player at his position.
Livingston put his skills on display this past weekend at the USA Developmental Festival in Colorado Springs, Colorado, but he missed several games because of ankle injury.
“My ankle is ok,” he said. “It’s getting stronger and I’m feeling a little better. “I’m going to a chiropractor because my back is a little stiff, but I will be ready for ABCD Camp next week.”
