Dixon Heading To Division II
Two Tallahassee C.C. players will be going the Division II route next fall due to academic issues.
De'on Dixon, a mobile 6-8 forward from Fayetteville, N.C., and Derrick Wright, an athletic 6-3 swingman from Florida, are seeking Division II opportunities due to grades, TCC Head Coach Eddie Barnes said.

Dixon is the more well known of the two, having committed to Clemson University out of high school. He spent a year and a half at TCC before flunking out of school in December.
Even though he's no longer enrolled at the school, Barnes told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that he is trying to help Dixon find a Division II program.
Wright is still enrolled at TCC, but like Dixon, won't have the necessary academic credentials to enroll at a Division I school.
