Dinc comments on Indiana commitment
While Indiana waits to hear of Brandon Rush's plans, the Hoosiers landed the coveted Cem Dinc of the Turkish National Team. Dinc, a 6-foot-10, 240-pound wing player, will suit up this season for the Indiana basketball program.
"I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here," said Dinc, who actually lives in Germany but also has Turkish citizenship. "It was great. It made my decision really quick and easy. I was impressed with everything. There was nothing that I didn't like.

"First of all the coaching staff is great. Coach Davis actually played for Coach Tanjevic, my national coach, when he played pro ball in Italy. I got to meet Coach Rupp and Coach Marsh, and they are both great people. The Athletic Director and all the people I met were great."
Dinc, who will participate in the World Championship games for Turkey before the start of this college season, was also slated to visit Florida today and North Carolina tomorrow. Both of those visits have been cancelled.
Dinc is also very optimistic about what type of season the Hoosiers can have this year.
"I love the team, and we have some very talented players," he said. "I see no reason why we can't win a championship."
