Dillon Opening Some Eyes

Bryant Dillon, an intriguing 6-6, 180 pound point guard/swingman from Southwest Illinois C.C. in Belleville, Ill., has attracted some major Division I recruiting interest heading into the junior college basketball season.
According to SWIC Asst. Coach Steve Campo, Purdue has come in three times this fall to take a look at Dillon, who is a native of Indianapolis, Ind.

In addition to Purdue, Butler, Illinois-Chicago, and Arkansas State have shown quite a bit of interest in Dillon. In fact, Dillon took an official visit to UIC in September.
At this past weekend's Vincennes JUCO Jamboree, Dillon showed that he possesses an adequate handle, and is effective at penetrating and kicking to open shooters on the wing. On the down side, he'll need to significantly boost his strength for the rigors of the Division I level.
The long-armed wing player was a qualifier out of high school, according to Campo. He plans on signing in the spring, and Rivalshoops.com will stay on top of his recruitment in the weeks to come.
