Dickerson Changes Schools

Renardo Dickerson, a 6-5, 215 pound combo forward from Baltimore, MD, has transferred to Lutheran Christian Academy in Pennsylvania.
"Nardo" transferred from Baltimore's Southern High School to Milford Academy in Connecticut last season when he was re-classified as a junior. He also plays with Joe Connelly's Baltimore Blue program.

We first caught Dickerson at the June 2001 War in the Woods in South Jersey where he poured in 34 points to lead the Blue to the championship. He was honored as the tournament MVP. At that stage of his development, he was successfully banging it out in the paint even though he was facing bigger opponents.
Dickerson said he averaged 11 points and five rebounds last season at Milford. He previously told us that he's received scholarship offers from Massachusetts and Loyola of Chicago.
Earlier in July, he said that Buffalo, Towson and George Mason had tendered offers. Other schools on his list include Kent State, La Salle, Towson and UConn. But this list will obviously change. Most of these schools have moved on or are waiting to watch Dickerson play again this season.
