Diarra Has Five He Likes

Konimba Diarra, a raw yet developing 6-9, 230 pound power forward/center from Our Savior New American School in Centereach, N.Y., said he has five colleges that he really likes this summer on his list of schools.
Diarra scored four points in Minuteman Press' 72-60 loss to the Alabama Ice on Thursday morning in the round of 32 at the adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas.

After the game, he shared his thoughts on his current list of schools with Rivalshoops.
Diarra said that he likes St. Joseph's, Marquette, South Florida, Hofstra and Stony Brook. Of those colleges, he has already had the chance to unofficially visit Stony Brook, Hofstra and St. Joe's.
Sylla is a player whose best basketball is clearly ahead of him. He's mobile, has a long frame which has the structure to support more size, and is still learning the game from an offensive standpoint. What he does well at this stage is rebounding and swatting shots.
Diarra averaged 10 points, 10 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game this past season at Our Savior. He wasn't sure where his GPA stands, but the Mali native said he fell short on his first attempt on the SAT exam this past year.
Diarra's busy summer has included pit stops at the adidas ABCD Camp in New Jersey, the adidas Three Stripes Classic in New York and the adidas Big Time Tournament here in Las Vegas this week.
We will keep you posted on his situation in the weeks to come, so stay tuned.
